Dr. Breanne Everett
Dr. Breanne Everett is the CEO and Co-Founder of Orpyx and a medical doctor with residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the University of Calgary. Driven by the impact of diabetic foot complications on both patients and healthcare systems, she founded Orpyx, a leading med tech + touch company dedicated to transforming diabetic limb management. Through its ground-breaking Orpyx Sensory Insole system, Orpyx is revolutionizing the prevention of diabetic foot ulcers and amputations.
For her innovative work at Orpyx, Dr. Everett has received multiple accolades, including the Governor General’s Innovation Award, the Alberta Business Hall of Fame – Southern Alberta Innovator Award, the Alberta Women Entrepreneur Upsurge Entrepreneur Award, and the Calgary Award in Commerce. She has been recognized as one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, and the University of Calgary’s Graduate of the Last Decade.
Additionally, Dr. Everett is a Loran National Scholar and actively participates in the Loran Alumni Community. She also serves on the Canadian Medical Association’s Joule Innovation Council and the Governor General Innovation Award Selections Committee.
Dr. Everett’s pride and joy is her family, and when she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their extended families.
